Capital City Trail

The Capital City Trail features a 32km loop shared path for cyclists and pedestrians around Melbourne offering views of some of the city's most famous landmarks. Popular places to start walking/riding is at Southbank - where you can enjoy a coffee before hopping on the bike - and Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station.
The trail is either concrete or bitumen and suitable for all types of bikes. There are a couple of locations where there are steps on the trail so you will need to be able to lift and carry your bike. This unique recreational experience takes in: Docklands, Telstra Dome, Moonee Ponds Creek, Zoo and Royal Park, Yarra Bend Park, Merri Creek, Yarra River, Melbourne Park and MCG, Alexandra Gardens and Southbank.
