The Fire Services Museum of Victoria in Melbourne's East was opened in 1979 and is the country's largest collection of Fire Brigade memorabilia.
As the official home and focus for the history of fire fighting services in Victoria, the museum boasts a hefty collection of over 10,000 fire related items including fire appliances, personnel histories, memorabilia collected both nationally and internationally.
The museum is open three days a week with group and school tours available.
When?
Thurs-Fri: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Sun: 10:00am - 4:00pm.
