The 4th Annual La Plaza de Mercado is Melbourne’s premier Latin American and Spanish cultural festival to be held at the Queen Victoria Market on Sunday 20 April, 2008.

La Plaza de Mercado, showcases the sights, sounds and beauty of countries of Latin America and Spain with a dazzling display of colour and energy. The event features unique and distinctive elements and diversity from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Spain and Uruguay. Approximately 27 specialty stallholders; an exotic entertainment program of Latin dance performances and music; market stalls of traditional art, craft, fashion, and a tantalising array of food and flavours will be presented with passion and zeal, and promises a memorable experience.
