The Next Wave Festival is a major biennial event that presents genre-busting new works by the next wave of Australian artists.
It is Australia's leading Festival for young artists and arts workers. Established in 1984, Next Wave has been at the forefront of presenting a broad range of contemporary art practices to a national audience.
The 2008 Next Waves festival takes place in mid-May.
