ReelDance International Dance on Screen Festival 2008

The ReelDance International Dance on Screen Festival is the fifth biannual festival since 2000 celebrating the art of dance-film. Sitting between the performing arts and film culture, this film festival caters to both dance and film audiences with a focus on screen musicals, music videos and contemporary dance on screen.
The festival will hit Melbourne in May and features the move-me.com booth - a touring installation work from the UK by dance screen artists Katrina McPherson and Simon Fildes. Visitors can make their own dancefilm using choreography from a selection of artists, including Deborah Hay, Stephen Petronio and Nigel Charnock and then track their film on the associated award-winning website.
