The beautiful Rippon Lea Estate in Melbourne is located just 20 minutes from the CBD and is the last of Australia’s grand suburban estates.
The estate and its mansion is a National Heritage Listed 19th century mansion complete with authentic kitchen complex, 14 acres of gardens, a lake with a pleasure garden, sweeping lawns, magnificent trees, a tranquil lake, unique fernery, and an orchard with over one hundred varieties of heritage apples and pears.
An afternoon meandering through the mansion, relaxing with a book on the lawns and a coffee in hand is pure bliss.
