Rides at the Royal Melbourne Show
The Royal Melbourne Show began in 1848. It is a time when the country comes to the city, and the foundation of Australia's economy in rural industry is celebrated.
Like other Royal Shows, it features entertainment and competitions, food and drink, plus many rides and other amusements. An Australian show tradition are the Show Bags, carry bags full of goodies produced by various commercial enterprises.
