Shrine Of Remembrance

The Shrine of Remembrance is Victoria's largest and most visited war memorial; a Melbourne icon and arguably the city's most recognised landmark.

In remembrance to World War 1 veterans and those who have served the nation in armed conflicts and peacekeeping operations, the Shrine features additional monuments such as the Second World War Memorial and other monuments around the reserve. More than 120 ceremonies are held at the Shrine annually with daily guided tours at 11:00am and 2:00pm.

Remembrance Ceremonies are every half hour. Changing exhibitions are featured in the Visitor Centre.
