Sony Tropfest

The Sony Tropfest is the world's largest short film festival held in free, public, outdoor locations across Australia via satellite broadcast to over 150,000 viewers at 15 national venues in February.
This year, Tropfest celebrates its 16th birthday with the lucky number ‘8’ as the theme of the event. Filmmakers that has entered a short film for the festival (which can be about anything) must include the annual Tropfest Signature Item (TSI), which this year is ‘8’.
Other highlights of the festival include DJs, MCs, live bands and other on-site activities.
