The 5th Thai Culture and Food Festival will transform Federation Square into a celebration of Thai culture, showcasing arts & crafts, tourism, dance, food and drink and Thai massage.

Here are just some of the highlights of the 2008 festival:

- 20 Thai food and desert stalls
- 19 performers direct from Thailand
- Live cultural shows
- Thai martial arts shows
- Thai kick boxing shows
- Beauty contest
- Fashion parade - 12 models direct from Thailand featuring Thai Silk
- Singha Beer garden and sound stage
- Thai cooking demo on main stage
- Thai movie on big screen
- Thai product stalls
- Buddhist ceremony
