Viva Brazil! Carnival

Federation Square plays host to this year's Brazilian carnival - Viva Brazil! - and is expected to attract at least 40,000 Melbournians and visitors throughout the day to this spectacular free event.
The ViVa Brazil Festival is a multicultural event showcasing the Brazilian culture and love of life of the Brazilian people. Its diverse schedule will include: percussion, Samba, Bossa Nova, Brazilian Dances, Capoeira (Brazilian African Martial Art), amongst others.
A broad range of Brazilian and Australian artists will be performing at the event. A number of marquees will be set up offering traditional finger food, beverages, arts and craft and many other products.
